Biography
Charon is a minor character in Historiē who is introduced as Eumenes' slave in Chapter 6, accompanying him to school.
Story spoilers
When Eumenes meets him again in Chapter 85, Charon is known as Melanthios and is a trusted friend of Phocion. During his life as a free man, he marries a former slave and continues to address Eumenes as “young master.” He ultimately describes Eumenes as his only son.
