Charles Karino

Charles Karino is a Levammian-born mercenary pilot assigned to a secret mission escorting the state's future princess consort. Because of his mixed heritage, which includes Amatsukami ancestry, he endures severe discrimination and becomes devoted to flying as a realm where, in his words, caste, race, and social status do not matter. Although his background prevents official recognition as an ace, he is described as exceptionally skilled in flight and aerial combat.
