Carla / Charles / Charlé

Biography

Charlés is an Exceed in Fairy Tail who uses the same type of magic as Happy. Wendy found her as an egg, and the two have remained close ever since. Charlés is protective of Wendy, serious, and strongly disapproves of fooling around.

Story spoilers

Charlés originates from the parallel world of Edolas and is the daughter of Queen Shagotte, making her the Exceeds' princess. Like her mother, she possesses precognition.

After a year of training, Charlés learns to use Transformation Magic and can take the appearance of a young girl around Wendy's age. In that form, her magic, precognition, and hand-to-hand combat ability become stronger.
