Caynz

Caynz is presented as a player killed inside a city, an event said to be impossible because the area's protection code prevents players from losing HP.

The name "Kains" given to Kirito and Asuna is false; Yoruko uses it as part of a deception based on an earlier player with the same name who died from Piercing DoT. Caynz is a member of the disbanded Golden Apple guild, and he and Yoruko carry out a plan meant to frighten the suspected killer into confessing by making it appear that guild leader Griselda had risen from the dead and begun killing guild members inside the city.
