Buskirk

Buskirk is an old friend of Gary and Kim who begins the story with a battered spacecraft called the Nashibukami and a plan to transport Kim to Earth. The arrival of the Boskone forces him into a much more dangerous situation, and he escapes with Kim aboard the Brittania while Gary creates a distraction. Strong and stocky, Buskirk retains a lively sense of humor and develops a fondness for an axe he discovers among the ship's weapons.
