Story spoilers
Despa teaches Bojji swordsmanship built around agility and precision rather than strength. It is later revealed that Bojji's weakness comes from a bargain his father made with a demon before Bojji's birth, sacrificing his son's physical strength in exchange for becoming the strongest man in the world.
