Biwamaru

Biwamaru is a blind, wandering acupuncture doctor who travels Japan treating illnesses with remarkable speed. An unlicensed practitioner dressed in rags and walking with a crooked cane, he rejects surgery as barbaric and clashes philosophically with Black Jack despite the effectiveness of both men's methods. In Dororo, Biwamaru also appears as a blind musician and master swordsman.
