Bertolt Hoover

Bertolt Hoover is a supporting character in Attack on Titan and a former cadet of the 104th Training Corps. He ranks third in his graduating class, behind Mikasa and his hometown friend Reiner. Quiet and lacking initiative despite his strong potential, Bertolt describes himself as weak-willed and inclined to follow popular opinion. He initially hopes to enter the Military Police and live safely within the inner wall, but after the Battle of Trost he chooses the Survey Corps instead.
