Biography
Ayane Yano is one of Sawako's closest friends and arguably the most mature member of their group. Perceptive, intelligent, calm, and strategic, she often gives people just enough information to make them act for themselves. Her composure disappears quickly when someone hurts Sawako.
Story spoilers
Later in the manga, Ayane ends a relationship with a possessive boyfriend and continues wrestling with her own belief that she is not a kind person. Pin unexpectedly reassures her, while Kento and later Motoki show romantic interest in her; Ayane accepts Motoki's confession.
