Ayako Katagiri

Ayako Katagiri is a cheerful, eccentric free spirit recognized by her chignon hairstyle and habit of mixing English into her speech. Her club affiliation varies by version, but adaptations requiring a fixed choice consistently place her in the Art Club, and Gauguin is her favorite painter. She is also an excellent singer. In her first interaction with the struggling protagonist, she gives an unflinchingly honest assessment of his work.
