Story spoilers

Aultcray is revealed to be the Wand Hero and a former wartime leader whose hatred of demi-humans and beastmen feeds his support for human supremacy. Queen Mirelia later strips him of his authority and renames him Trash as punishment for abusing his power. His original name is Luge Lances Forbrey; he had been a legitimate heir to Forbrey's throne and used the alias Luge Lancarose while fighting on the front lines before taking the name Aultcray Melromarc XXXII upon marrying Mirelia.
