Asuka Watarai is Takashi Haneda's classmate. Tired of rejecting other pursuers, she asks Takashi to be her boyfriend so they will leave her alone.
Story spoilers
Asuka is actually interested in Takashi and uses the arrangement as a chance to get to know him. She later learns about his split-personality condition; she had experienced a similar condition in childhood and recovered from it.
