Ashura
阿修羅Biography
Ashura is the last living member of the Ashura clan. After being protected inside a cocoon for three hundred years, Ashura is awakened by Yasha-ou and rapidly grows from a baby into a young child. Initially friendly and outgoing, Ashura becomes determined to grow strong enough to defeat Taishakuten.
Story spoilers
Ashura's hidden identity is the “true Ashura,” a merciless god of war whose full awakening threatens Heaven, Earth, and Hell. Ashura was born genderless as punishment for the father's sin and cannot continue the royal line. Rather than kill Yasha-ou and complete the prophecy, Ashura stabs themself and falls into a deep sleep, eventually awakening after Kujaku sacrifices his life.
