Personality

Armin is curious, loyal, selfless, and highly analytical. His fascination with the outside world began with an illegal book owned by his grandfather, but that curiosity also made him a target for other children. Timid and physically frail, he often relied on Eren and Mikasa for protection and developed poor self-esteem.

Armin nevertheless works hard to prove his worth and is willing to place himself in danger for his friends. His careful judgment, planning, creativity, and ability to think beyond obvious solutions make his intelligence and tactical skill more important than his physical strength.
