Biography
Arago, also known as Talpa, is the Emperor of the Evil Dynasty, an evil spirit whose attempt to conquer the earth-plane dates back a millennium. The Ancient One defeated him; Talpa's spirit returned to the Nether Realm while his armor remained in the mortal world, where the Ancient One split the indestructible armor into nine separate armors. Arago later recovered four—Cruelty, Corruption, Illusion and Venom—and gave them to the humans who became his Dark Warlords. In the modern era, Arago returns, captures Tokyo's citizens and sends the Dark Warlords against the Ronin Warriors.
Story spoilers
When the Ronins enter Arago's castle, Talpa absorbs each of the Ronin Warriors and the Dark Warlords to regain his armor, but Ryo breaks free with the Inferno Armor and defeats him. Talpa survives and later returns stronger, corrupts Lady Kayura to serve him and seeks the Inferno Armor. The Dark Warlords eventually turn against Talpa, and the final battle ends when the Jewel of Life fires a blast that finishes Talpa and saves Ryo.
