Ara Haan

Ara Haan is a young woman of the Haan warrior family in Fluone's Northern Empire and a skilled spear martial artist. Her brother Aren, later known as Ran, encounters the Dark El, is transformed into a demon, and leads other demons who attack their village. During the attack, powers emerge from an heirloom hairpin and help Ara drive the demons away; they belong to the nine-tailed fox spirit Eun. Eun lends Ara abilities in exchange for Ara helping find El strong enough to free Eun from the heirloom. Ara later journeys to find Ran.
