Anne Shirley

Anne Shirley is an imaginative, warm-hearted girl raised in an orphanage. Extremely talkative, she gives poetic names to things she loves, dislikes her red hair, and has a tomboyish streak while remaining a loyal friend and daughter. She is accidentally sent to Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert, who had expected a boy.
