Story spoilers
His true identity is Angra Mainyu, though he is not actually the evil god of Zoroastrianism. His defeat in the Third War corrupts the Grail, turning it into the equivalent of All the World's Evils. He later attempts to be born through the Grail in the Heaven's Feel route and serves Bazett Fraga McRemitz during the four-day loop of Fate/hollow ataraxia.
