Andropov is an anime-original member of General Logi's Independent Flying Squadron. The youngest and most intelligent member of the group, he serves as its reconnaissance specialist. His shadow, Alubujem, is a four-armed crystalline creature that can launch reconnaissance crystals and attack with streams of crystal shards.
Story spoilers
After General Logi secedes from the Gran Kingdom, Andropov attacks its airships. He later develops feelings for Kluke after capturing her for interrogation. In a battle against Zola, Schneider sacrifices himself while Andropov falls unconscious. Two years later, Andropov is recovering under Kluke's care and eventually joins Shu's side against the White Brigade and later Rudolph.
