Biography
Analyzer is a human-sized robot whose role differs between versions of Space Battleship Yamato. In the original series, he works at an EDF hospital before asking to join the Yamato crew so he can prove himself. In 2199, he is instead the Yamato's purpose-built autonomous sub-computer and is portrayed as more restrained and deadpan.
