Amagi
天城IJN Amagi
Biography
Amagi is a Sakura Empire battlecruiser introduced in episode 10. Although she is not the same class as Kaga and Akagi, she acts like an older sister to them, often stopping their arguments and disciplining them.
Story spoilers
After the Sakura Empire accepts treaty restrictions on heavy battleships, Amagi is "scrapped" and later dies under unclear circumstances. Her historical ship was never completed; plans to convert it into an aircraft carrier ended after earthquake damage, and parts were used to complete Kaga as an aircraft carrier.
