Biography

Akari Sakura is the 11-year-old heroine of Jewelpet Twinkle☆ and the human partner of Ruby and Rabura. A bright, gentle, and shy student at the Wiston Educational Institute, she lives in the shadow of her popular older sister Monica.

After meeting Ruby, Akari receives a Jewel Charm and enters the Magic Academy. She hopes to compete with Ruby in the Jewel Star Grand Prix and earn the Jewel Star, using her Jewel Charm with Ruby and Rabura to perform magic.

Story spoilers

Akari later gathers the courage to confess her long-held crush to Yuuma, though his response is not shown.
