Character profile
Akane Kasuga
春日あかねBiography
Akane Kasuga is Kazuya's older sister and the same age as their cousin Kyousuke. Tomboyish enough to intimidate Komatsu and Hatta, she can use "The Power" to create aural and visual illusions, most often making herself appear as someone else. The exact limits of that ability differ between the manga and anime.
Story spoilers
In the manga, Akane develops a crush on Madoka and sometimes disguises herself as Kyousuke while trying to understand Madoka and Kyousuke's feelings. Her anime appearances are limited to two OVAs, where she is also shown to be infatuated with Madoka.
