Akakabuto

Five years before the events in GNG, hunter Takeda Gohei shoots Akakabuto in the right eye. The incident damages his nervous system so that he can no longer hibernate, drives him mad, and makes him grow stronger and larger than other bears because the bullet in his brain stimulates his growth. He builds a stronghold, takes over the Futago mountain pass, and gathers strong bears in the area under his leadership to fight the army of dogs.
