Biography
Ainchase Ishmael is a mysterious figure who appears before the El Search Party, claims to be a priest serving a goddess and offers to help recover the stolen El Shard. Ain struggles to understand how non-angels interact and often gives people descriptive nicknames.
Story spoilers
Ain is actually an angel created by the Goddess Ishmael to restore the power of El, a truth concealed from most of the El Search Party. Only two members have picked up that there is more to Ain than is revealed, while Hernia is the only NPC shown to know Ain's status as an angel.
