1019 Epstein MJ3 Prototype is an android, or biodroid, designed by Leon Epstein and sent to escort Felicia Epstein to the post-war utopia Oz. It was designed in the image of Dr. Epstein's mother but given a man's body, with greater speed, stamina and strength than a human.
Story spoilers
More recent Epstein MJ3 versions warn that 1019 is an unstable prototype that will inevitably deteriorate psychologically. The deterioration is later tied to brain waves copied directly from Pamela, whose personality increasingly overrides 1019. After helping with a plan to destroy Oz, 1019 cryogenically freezes the mortally wounded Mutou before the facility explodes.
