Toradora!

Toradora! pairs Ryuuji Takasu, a gentle high-school student whose intimidating face makes others mistake him for a delinquent, with Taiga Aisaka, a small but fiercely temperamental student known as the "Palmtop Tiger." An awkward encounter reveals that each has a crush on someone close to the other: Taiga likes Ryuuji's best friend Yuusaku Kitamura, while Ryuuji likes Taiga's best friend Minori Kushieda. Realizing they can help one another, the unlikely pair form an alliance dedicated to advancing their separate romances, even as their very different personalities keep complicating the plan.
