The Quintessential Quintuplets

Fuutarou Uesugi is a second-year high school student from a poor family who receives an unusually well-paying part-time tutoring job. The assignment initially sounds ideal, until he discovers that his students are five girls from his own class: the Nakano quintuplets.

Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba, and Itsuki are all struggling academically and have little interest in studying, making Fuutarou's job far more difficult than expected. Before he can improve their grades, he first has to convince all five sisters to trust him enough to accept his help. The Quintessential Quintuplets builds its romantic comedy around that tutoring arrangement, following Fuutarou as study sessions and school life repeatedly bring him into the very different personalities of the five sisters.
