Attempts to communicate peacefully with the Neuroi collapse when a massive new nest appears over Europe and begins destroying allied forces. A support battalion is dispatched from Fuso, bringing Mio Sakamoto and civilian Yoshika Miyafuji back into the effort to rescue their friends.
