Re:CREATORS

Stories are normally experienced from the outside: audiences feel joy, sadness, anger, and excitement while fictional characters remain creations on a page or screen. Re:CREATORS begins by overturning that relationship and asking what happens when those characters possess wills of their own.

Figures such as Selesia Upitiria and Meteora Österreich can no longer be treated as passive inventions when they are able to confront the world of their creators directly. From their perspective, the people who wrote and designed their worlds may resemble gods with power over everything they know. The resulting conflict turns creation itself into a struggle over responsibility, rebellion, and the boundary between fiction and reality.
