In 2118, Chief Inspector Akane Tsunemori investigates the death of Professor Milicia Stronskaya aboard a foreign vessel. The case reunites her with Shinya Kogami and leads toward the Peacebreakers, a paramilitary group seeking research documents whose contents could threaten both Japan's government and the Sibyl System.
