Plunderer

Everyone in the world of Alcia carries a number known as a Count somewhere on their body. The value rises or falls according to how that person lives, and reaching zero carries a terrifying consequence: the individual is dragged into the Abyss.

Hina witnesses that fate when her mother's Count reaches zero and she disappears. Before being taken, her mother leaves Hina with one final direction—to search for a legendary hero from the Waste War known as an Ace. That request sends Hina out into Alcia, where finding the fabled warrior becomes both a personal mission and her only remaining connection to her mother's last wish.
