Over Her Curtain

Over Her Curtain draws on the Japanese folkloric concept of blood-related defilement. Its imagery follows a girl whose thoughts leap rapidly as she confines different ideas beyond mirrors and sliding doors before going outside. The film was Yumi Kawai's first-year work at Tokyo University of the Arts in 2012.
