Takumi Fujiwara is a high school student who works at a gas station by day and delivers tofu for his father's shop early each morning. Years of making those mountain deliveries have quietly developed his driving into something exceptional, especially behind the wheel of his father's modified Toyota Sprinter AE86 Trueno.

Takumi barely recognizes how unusual his skill has become until local road racers begin taking notice. On Mt. Akina's highway, his precise technique makes him a formidable amateur driver, attracting challenges from racing teams across Gunma Prefecture. What began as routine delivery work soon pulls Takumi into competitive street racing, where each new opponent tests whether his natural ability can become something legendary.
