Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash

A group of strangers awakens in the unfamiliar world of Grimgar with little more than hazy memories and knowledge of their own names. With no clear way home and few options for earning a living, they become soldiers in the Reserve Army and are expected to fight threats to their new world. After stronger recruits form teams of their own, those left behind—including Haruhiro, Manato, Yume, Shihoru, Mogzo, and Ranta—band together simply to survive. Although Grimgar resembles a game, its dangers are real: there are no retries or respawns, and every fight can carry permanent consequences.
