God Eater

By 2071, humanity has been pushed toward extinction by life forms called Oracle cells. Their uncontrolled consumption of living matter and extraordinary adaptability eventually produce the creatures known as Aragami, enemies that conventional weapons cannot harm.

As cities collapse, humanity develops God Arcs, living weapons that incorporate Oracle cells themselves. Only specially organized fighters can wield them, creating an elite force known as the God Eaters. In the devastated Far East, these warriors represent humanity's remaining defense against creatures that have already overwhelmed ordinary military technology. Their struggle is a desperate attempt to survive in a world increasingly dominated by the very organisms consuming it.
