Eighteen-year-old Chinami Ebihara generates electromagnetic waves when her emotions run high, disrupting electrical devices. The effect has forced her to transfer between schools. At her new school, fellow student Kotarou Kannagi witnesses it and becomes obsessed with studying her TYPE-E ability.
