Bath House of Whales

Mizuki Kiyama's paint-on-glass animation follows a young girl visiting a neighborhood sento with her mother. The ordinary bathing ritual is seen through a child's fascination, transforming the intimate everyday setting into something dreamlike and fantastical. The film was created as a graduation project at Tokyo University of the Arts.
