Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts

Akihisa Yoshii attends an academy that sorts students into classes according to test results. Class A enjoys comfortable facilities, while Akihisa lands in Class F, where worn furniture reflects its place at the bottom of the school hierarchy. Brilliant Mizuki Himeji also ends up there after illness ruins her performance on test day.

The academy has another unusual feature: students can summon fantasy creatures for competitive battles. With his friend and class president Yuuji Sakamoto, Akihisa rallies Class F to challenge the higher-ranked classes. Their goal is simple—use the school's own summoning system to defeat better-performing students and seize the privileges normally reserved for those at the top.
