Tokimune Susumu joins the Arandas military seeking the truth about his sister's death in its service. When a civilian convoy is threatened and his own battle mech is destroyed, he breaks ranks to use the experimental Argevollen. Activating it unexpectedly makes the machine respond to his mind alone.
