Absolute Duo

A Blaze is a weapon formed from a person's soul, and Tooru Kokonoe qualifies to manifest one. His is unusual, however: instead of taking the form of a weapon, it appears as a shield. Tooru enrolls at a school devoted to combat training, where the institution's Duo system pairs students together. That arrangement places him alongside a silver-haired girl as both partner and roommate.
