A Jewish Girl in Shanghai

Set around the Shanghai Ghetto during the Second World War, the film follows Jewish refugee siblings Rina and Mishalli, who escaped Europe without their parents. They meet A-Gen, a Chinese boy who helps them survive in Japanese-occupied Shanghai. The three children form a close friendship while living through war and uncertainty over the fate of the siblings' parents in Europe.
